The old west, full of deceptions and backstabbing. It’s no different with the old shootem up of a card game. Roles and character cards get passed out to all the players where the player with the sheriff role revels himself to the group while everyone else stays a secret. The roles: the Outlaws, where there lone duty is kill the sheriff, the Deputy, where he secretly helps the sheriff whenever he can, for his goal is the dame as the sheriff, kill the outlaws. Then you have the lone renegade that wants to be the new sheriff of the town and get rid of the bandits. With all the roles of the players hidden from each other beside the sheriff, the backstabbing and betrayal only gets worse as the outlaws will take war on each other and the sheriff kills in own deputy on accident. One game of BANG! And you and your friends will be hooked and looking for the 2 expansions that go along with the game just like me and my friends have.

In other words, the world's best selling Wild West card game returns in an exciting new edition! In Bang!, each player takes on a role in a western town: Sheriff, Deputy, Outlaw, or Renegade-except nobody knows who is aligned with whom at the beginning. The Sheriff hunts down the Outlaws; the Outlaws hunt down the Sheriff, and the Renegade just wants to be the last man standing. It's a game of bluffing, deduction, and crazy Wild West shootouts. The cards are printed in English and Italian, or as my friends like to say, dubbed in English. Like the great spaghetti westerns that were filmed in Italian and then dubbed in English, we play with one player pretending to say the Italian on the card while the player on his right reads the actual text in English. It's great fun. Bang! plays in about 20-40 minutes and is great for a group of 4-7 players.

Bang! is the quick drawing western game where you play as Outlaw, Sheriff, Renegade or Deputy. This game is ideal for anyone who loves the old west gun fights. With fun characters like Doc Hollyday and Tequila Joe you’ll have a blast in this western game. Figure out who the outlaw is and either gun him down or put him in jail, be the deputy and help the sheriff and hope he doesn’t shoot you in the back, or play as the renegade and hope you’re the last one standing when the smoke clears. I personally had a wonderful time playing this game with a few friends and I feel that if you love the west as much as I do then your going to love this game. Grab your six-shooter and hold on to you hat and watch out for BANG!
