The Exclusive Triple Weighted Chess Set is one of the finest examples I have seen of a classic "Staunton" style set. The pieces are made of Black and Natural Boxwood and are "triple" weighted with a genuine leather medallion as the base to protect the chess board. This 4' king set provides an extremely clean and classic look while still being unique enough to stand out from all the other "Staunton" sets out there. The crowning jewel of this beautiful set is the exquisite black and Madrona Burl wood board that comes as part of the set. The board or pieces separately, in my opinion, would be worth the cost of the full set, but when you get both... how can you go wrong?

I have been drooling over this set ever since we started carrying it and have purchased a set myself! If you or someone you know is a chess aficionado then this set should be on the top of your list. In my humble opinion it is the best set we carry!

The Exclusive Chess Set is the nicest traditional set that Game Daze carries. The set features a 3.75 inch king hand carved from India. The board is also standard tournament size with 2 inch squares, and a golden border. The board is a Black Madronna burl wood. The pieces are triple weighted with leather bottoms. The leather bottoms are superior to traditional felt bottoms because they both provide more friction and do not stain the board. This set although traditional has a classy expensive look that makes it a great show piece along with being perfect for the tournament player. At a time when Chess Set prices are going up the Exclusive set has remained the same, making it not only the nicest set but the best value as well.
