You are an architect in ancient Egypt, trying to win a royal contract by building the most impressive parts of Cleopatra’s new palace! Each part of the palace – obelisks, sphinxes, columns and more – requires certain resources to build. So, just like with your own home improvement projects, frequent trips to the marketplace are in order. Some of the merchants in the marketplace are less than scrupulous, so you can take shortcuts by buying cards that let you build faster. Each time you play one, though, you must put a Corruption Token in your “Pyramid o’ Corruption” where the other players can’t see exactly how many you’ve racked up. Be careful not to collect too many, though – whichever player is the most corrupt at the end of the game will be fed to the crocodiles BEFORE points are tallied, and can no longer win the game!
