The game Evolution is an extremely fun and interactive game that involves fast thinking and group effort. This game is entertaining and dynamic for people aged from preteen to adult. The premise of the game, Evolution, is that you and your team must go through 5 different stages of the game play to reach complete evolution. Each section has its own theme of evolutionary periods, from primate to superhuman and gets progressively harder as you make your way up the evolution ladder. With 18 different challenges, such as word puzzles, trivia, and acting out clues, this game is sure to always mix things up.
My experience with Evolution is a fantastic one. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an engaging party game. The game has 600 challenge cards; each time I’ve played it, I’ve received cards I have never seen before. This is a game that definitely covers the bases in terms of game play. Instead of one action repeating itself, the game allows you to expand into multiple territories of game themes. Everyone in the team gets their turn, but because of the different types of games within this one game, each turn is something different. And finally, when you arrive at the space marked superhuman on the Evolution board, you and your team must guess the same answer to win. For example, a television show that involves the police would be a possible challenge card. Your team would have to agree on an answer, without communicating to each other. If you enjoy games such as Quelf or Cranium with diverse game play, Evolution would be the perfect game to try next.

Evolution is a fantastic party game that will test your knowledge in a variety of subjects. Evolution is part Trivia, Charades, Pictionary, and Mind Reading! Evolution is based on the concept first introduced by the game Cranium, where players get to do and enjoy what they are best at. As a team evolves the game becomes more challenging. Early in the game teamates get to pick who answers their questions and challenges. As you evolve the opposition gets to pick who answers your questions and challenges. As you evolve farther you will be expected to read the mind of your teamates. The only way to win is to know how your teamates (or the other team) will answer a question.

Quite frankly, Evolution is one of those games that makes you fall in love with board games all over again. You need at least 4 people to play, so at least 2 teams of 2. The game moves with a kind of rapid fire pace that keeps even those watching the game from the sidelines completely engaged and entertained. There are a ton of challenges in this game that keeps your mind sharp and your wits honed. The only complaint I have about Evolution is that eventually, the game comes to an end. We haven't had this much fun with a board game in years! Your friends and family will love it! Break it out for family get togethers and parties and you will put yourself on the map as being on fun house! We LOVE this game and can't wait for a booster pack to come out!
