I’m not a huge fan of trivia games, but I knew Eye Know would be an exception after I read the box. The cards are actual pictures instead of text, and as a visually oriented person, I found this appealing. Most intriguing was the aspect of betting, which adds a lot of excitement to an otherwise passive genre.

So I picked up a copy and tried it for the first time with my parents and teenage siblings. Everyone loved it so much, that we played all evening. The reason I dislike many trivia games is that they are too linear, and they expect everyone to have the same set of knowledge. Eye Know is a rare exception. Instead of being confined to a single trivia challenge, you have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of topics. In other words, you can play to your own strengths. This also allows for a wide range of people, from teens to adults, to be able to play competently.

I knew I would like Eye Know, but after playing it I was simply blown away. I give it five out of five stars, and the title of “My favorite trivia game of all time.”

This New trivia style game is not your average everyday trivia. The Questions come in 3 difficulties True False, Multiple choice, or Open Ended. You get to bet on the question and the pay outs are 1 to 1, 2 to 1 or 3 to 1. The trick is to pick a subject you know about and bet as best you can to end up with the most chips by the end. With a ton of questions and a “you pick the difficulty”, this game is good for the entire family of would be trivia masters.
