Flapdoodle is a great game put out by Wiggity Bang Games, creators of Quelf and Quao (2 of my other favorites). Flapdoodle is basically, Quelf Jr. Designed with kids in mind, the board, play pieces and cards are very colorful and eye catching. The cards are also written in easy to understand terms. Unlike Quelf, the movement in Flapdoodle is all based around the cards. In Flapdoodle factory, you move forward by performing silly stunts or acting the fool when the cards tell you to. Each card has a number of spaces you can move forward if you complete the task on the card. But watch out for Mr. SourFace, his cards will make you move BACKWARDS! While Ms. GoodyGumdrops’ spaces on the board give you extra opportunity to advance. First one to the end wins!

In short, it’s easy to learn, great for kids, and original/entertaining enough for adults, an all around great game. 3-6 Players, 30 minutes, ages 6+.

Each player chooses from a selection of goofball characters to navigate through the Flapdoodle factory. Be ready to complete silly stunts and answer wacky questions while hopefully interacting with Ms. Goody Gumpdrops, who will aid you throughout your quest. Watch out for the ever-crabby Mr. SourFace, who is lurking around, waiting to spoil the fun! Flapdoodle is an excellent and most entertaining game for kids and adults alike. Don’t miss it!
