Lokulus is a brain teaser game. The player is provided with plastic pieces in a variety of geometric shapes, a square frame in which to put the pieces, and different abstract pictures to make with the pieces. The challenge is to make all the pictures.

This makes for an excellent puzzle. As long as the player has the patience, he or she can figure it out. It provides mental stimulation and can keep a person entertained for hours. The only downside is that once the puzzles are completed enough, a person can begin to realize that certain pieces will almost always be placed next to each other, which does take away some of the difficulty. However, Lokulus also provides pictures of objects that can be made outside the frame using the same pieces, and can be attempted once a player has mastered making pictures using the frame.

All in all Lokulus is an excellent brain teaser that many can enjoy.

With Lokulus there are two styles of play, the first is within the frame, with this mode of play you remove pieces and then return them to the frame by solving a wide variety of puzzle challenges which range from easy to hard!

The next style of play is freeform, with freeform you use your imagination and the 14 various pieces to complete a variety of freeform challenges. Sound easy? Wait until you reach the more advanced puzzles!

Lokulus is a wonderful game for ages 6 and up, it's also small and easily portable which is great for passing the time at the bus stop or while waiting for your food at a restaurant.
