What happens when monkeys are bored? They fling poo at each other. Now with the game of POO you can be one dirty monkey. Game play is simple enough, you have your hand and play one card each turn. The cards include poo cards, with a number on it, defense cards that block poo hitting you, mishap cards, clean cards and event cards. They game ends when one player has 15 poo points. I found the game holds you attention and is light hearted. A big thumbs up.

Poo is a fantastic card game. Players take on the role of monkeys in a zoo, and do what monkeys do: throw poo at each other. On their turn, players can either throw poo at other players using “poo” or “special poo” cards, play an event card causing a temporary change in game play, or clean poo off of themselves. Players being attacked can play block cards or mishap cards. If players cannot block the attack, however, they take poo points. Once a player reaches 15 poo points, he/she is out of the game. The last one standing wins.

Poo does a wonderful job of taking a simple idea and turning it into fun for all. Game play is fast paced, ensuring that no one gets bored. The illustrations on the cards are clean, only depicting monkeys, so anyone can play without being offended. Descriptions of what cards do are clearly written on the bottom of each card, so there is no confusion. As long as players can read, they can play, making it a great game that can be played with kids or adults.
