Do you love risk, but tired of all the same maps, and rules? Then you will love Risk Legacy, the ever changing risk game. This Risk you can change, this risk will change how you play each game. Risk Legacy is played over a series of 15 games, with those games changing over time based on the outcome of each game and the various choices that the players make. Each of the 5 factions have their own set of rules and special powers, and each have the ability to break one minor rule at the beginning of the game. Players must choose one of the two powers that go along with their faction and then “Destroy” the other card, and when it says destroy, the rule means what it says: “if a card is DESTROYED, it is removed from the game permanently. Rip It up and throw it away” This concept varies through the game, some rules change the game temporarily, and others change the game permanently. The rule book itself also changes as the game changes. While this game changes and reflects different rules throughout the 15 games, it is said that you should keep the same players to have the best experience.

So, if you love Risk and you are looking for a twist, then Risk Legacy is a must have for your collection.

“It's your world!” That's the main theme in this latest version of an old classic; and to tell the truth, it's pretty awesome.

The story line goes that 116 years from now, scientists will be able to clone and create new Earths in hopes of ending years of petty wars. Colonists readily set out to claim these new worlds as their own. Upon arrival, they find that everything is new, and everything is up for grabs... for the moment.

Risk Legacy is all about making your world unique; it even has a serial number. Each player has the opportunity to make changes to the board, you even get to play as one of five factions, each with special abilities. Certain cards have been added that make it possible to alter territories and even the different factions; but show caution, what is done in one game affects every game after. Everything is constantly undergoing changes, even the rules.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves Risk, to anyone who likes change, and to anyone who's always looking for a new adventure.
