You could take all nine dice and roll them, quickly creating a story off the top of your head, you could roll one dice to begin a story and then have the next person roll one die to continue the story and so on, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination, so go wild!

This game is excellent for inspiring and enhancing creativity and imagination in adults and children alike, it's simple, fast and tons of fun for all ages!

Rory’s Story Cubes are a creative game with nine pictured dice. The possibilities with these nine dice are unlimited!! You can play a story telling game, where one person rolls dice to start telling a store and each person adds onto the store by rolling a die. You can use them to inspire children to write stories and to work past writers’ block... You can use them in any sort of brainstorming to start to think out of the box.

Personally I used them to tutor a middle-schooler in writing. He had writer’s block and couldn’t start writing stories. So, I would roll the nine cubes, ask him to pick five and to write a story about them. This way he had a sort of writing prompt but it wasn’t rigid.

Really, the possibilities are endless, and these little cubes are great for all ages. Depending on how you choose to use them, they can be used for one person or for large group games.
