Brock -

Say Anything is a party game that I became interested in because of its similar concept to Apples to Apples. The game plays straight forward; the judge asks one of the questions on the card he pulls from the pile, then the other players write down their answers on the included white boards, once everyone has placed their answer down, the judge picks secretly and everyone tries to guess which answer was chosen. With questions like “What can you say to your dog that you shouldn’t say to your spouse?” The room is sure to be full of laughter in no time. Overall Say Anything is a great game.

Say Anything is a perfect party game for any group. The game play is quick and simple, yet fun and engaging. On your turn you will pick one of 5 questions to ask the other players. They will then write down an answer they thing you would like. Once you secretly select your favorite answer, everyone bets on which one you picked. You get points if people bet on the answer you picked, and the people who picked your answer also get points. This is a great game for any group of people. It's like Apples to Apples but you never get stuck with a hand of cards that don't work for the Green Apple.

Superstition Springs Mall Game Daze Employee Recommendation, 4/2009

David-

Say Anything is a great party game for people you know and for people you don’t. In this game, you are trying to read other players’ minds.

Play is simple. Each player(from 3–8), is given a dry erase pen, an answer board, and two tokens. The shortest player goes first. On a player’s turn, they simply draw a card and select one of five questions. Examples include: Who is the most overrated band of all time?, What is the worst pizza topping?, What is the best way to relax?

Everyone then writes down the answer they think the reader will pick. As soon as they write their answer they place it in the middle of the table. It is important to come up with an answer fast: no one can write down the same answer.

Then the reader selects with the high-tech Select-o-Matic 5000 the answer they like the best and places it on the table upside down. When this is done, all players place their two voting tokens on the answer or answers they think the reader selected. They can place tokens on the same answer or spread them out over two different ones. The Select-o-Matic is revealed and points are scored. The game continues until everyone has asked a certain number of questions. The player with the most points wins.

This game is great to play with family and friends or as an icebreaker type game with people you don’t know. So grab your pens and let the fun begin.

Tucson Mall Manager Recommendation 4/2009

Ron-

Say Anything is a party game for three to eight players. In this game, it's all about opinions, and the object of the game is to get the most points by figuring out which opinions will line up.

On your turn you draw an opinion card and choose one of the subjects. It could be anything like "the best band ever is..." or "the worst thing to say to a police officer who pulled me over is." Everyone else in the game quickly writes down what they think you would agree with. They have to write fast because you can't have duplicates, and it's first come first serve. When you're faced with your choices, you use the Select-o-matic 5000 (a cardboard spinner, but cool name!) to secretly select your favorite answer. Once the selection has been made, players place markers on one or two choices they think are likeliest to be chosen by you. When you reveal your choice, everyone that lined up scores points. Each player gets to have from one to three turns, depending on the size of the group. Points are tallied, and the winner is declared!

This game is great because you get something different out of it depending on who you're playing with. If you're playing with friends and family, you get to see who knows who the best. If you're playing with strangers at a party, Say Anything is a great way to get to know folks. Regardless of the "audience," it's always a raucus conversation starter. And in the dozens of times I've pulled it out to play, there's never been someone that didn't enjoy it.
