Set is a great game that is fun for both individuals or groups. The goal of Set is to
collect the most sets. Sets are made up of three cards that are similar in either color,
shape, shading, and/or number. To play, cards are laid out for everyone to see. Players
look through the cards until they see a set. Once they do, they call out “Set” and take
the cards, which are then replaced. Game play continues until all cards have been laid
out, and all available sets have been collected. The player with the most sets is the winner.
Because Set uses shapes, numbers, and color instead of words, the game is
perfect for families of all ages, including children who may not be old enough to read well. At the same time, however, Set provides players the opportunity to exercise their brains through pattern recognition. Set requires players to identify patterns and groups quickly, without giving any single person a definite advantage. This makes the game challenging and fun, while being simple enough for anyone to play.

SET is one of those games that keeps you coming back, even long after you've "mastered" it. The fact that everyone plays at the same time keeps it interesting, and the game definitely keeps you on your toes. Its so fast paced and so much fun. My daughter’s beat my husband and I every time. Great game for the entire family and makes a gwonderful gift for teachers. SET also travels well!
