Train of Thought |
Train of Thought is a party word game. Players take turns trying to get opponents to guess a particular word, giving only a 3 word clue – and one of those words must be from a prior answer! For each clue given, each player may make 1 guess. If none are correct, the clue-giver creates another clue, using one of the guesses and up to 2 other words.
When the word is correctly guessed, the guessing player and the clue giver each get one point, and the clue giver draws a new card and continues making clues. Get as many as you can in 2 minutes!
Train of Thought can be played as a partnership or team game as well – guess as many words as you can in 2 minutes, see if the other team can beat that!
Train of Thought really makes you think differently than other games in the genre. An excellent party game!

Train of Thought is a fast paced party game that puts a twist on the classic Password format. Players take turns trying to giving three word clues toward the target word written on the card. However, the one of the three words must be the “Start Word” written on a different card. If no one guesses correctly on the first try the clue giver must use one of the guesses in the three word clue on the next try. As the game is played with a timer, hilarity ensues from on the spot clue giving where the “Start Word” is unlikely to be related to the target word. A lot of fun can be derived from a game of nonsensical clues.

Train of Thought is a fast paced insanely fun word game! You use three word phrases or sentences to get everyone to guess the destination word. Start the game is simple chose a conductor and the person to the left of them will be the brake man (in charge of the timer). The conductor will draw a station card and place it face up in front them. Also they will draw another card and the will be the destination card (they will keep this one secret). They will then roll the dice to see which words will be used. On the first clue the station word must be used. If no one can guess the destination after that then the conductor must use one of the guesses form there on out in the clues. When the time runs out the game moves on the person to the right of the conductor becomes the new conductor and the old conductor becomes the brake man. Now here is a twist the destination word once guessed becomes the new start word for the next destination word. This game is highly fun and addicting once you get on the train you won’t to get off!

Train of Thought is a party word game that will challenge and entertain. Train of Thought requires you to be engaged and listen attentively and at the same time,it is easily taught within about 2 minutes. Get people to guess as many of the words as posible in 2 minutes. The catch, you can only use 3 word clues, with your newest clues using one word from somone else's previouse guess. Get a point whenever you guess a correct answer or when somone guesses a answer from your clues. Normaly im not a huge fan of party games but this game does a lot of things right. First, it provides for a high level of player interaction. Second, it is fast-paced. There is no downtown and a single game doesn’t last very long or feel drawn out. Third, this game is challenging and requires all the players to use their active listening, communication, and logical thinking skills. This makes the game very challenging and rewarding. And finally, the game’s mechanics and flow are easy to understand and to teach.

Train of Thought is a great party word game that also makes you think. Designed for 2 – 7 players from ages 10 and up, the game can be played in about half an hour, and it comes locally from Tasty Minstrel Games! The object of the game is to guess words based on “trains” (sets) of three word clues.
One person each turn will keep an eye on the two-minute timed as the Breakman. Another player will be the Conductor, giving out the clues. The Conductor will draw a card with six words on it, place it face up on the table, and roll a six-sided die to determine the Start Word. They will draw a second card that they keep to themselves that contains the Destination Word. The Conductor will use the start word along with two other words to make a mini-sentence or phrase as a clue to what the Destination Word is. The other players will all call out a one word guess, and it is OK for multiple people to guess the same word. If the Destination Word is not guessed, the Conductor will then give another three word clue, using one of the words that were guessed. This will continue until it is guessed or time runs out.
If the word is guessed, the Conductor will place the Destination Card on the table to become the new Start Word and draw a new card with a new Destination Word, using the same number as before. Players who guessed correctly will draw a card face down from the deck to act as a point for them selves. Conductors use the Start Cards to keep track of their points. Play continues until the timer runs out. The Conductor then becomes the next Brakeman, while the player to their left becomes the next Conductor. The rules suggest playing three full rounds, using the first round as a practice round and not tracking scores.
I’ve had a blast with this fun little game and I hope you will too!!!

Train of thought is a random play on words with a strange addiction built into it. Imagine you have to get someone to guess the word “Stilts” using 3 clues with one being “Robot”? Sound hard? That’s because it is. Say you say: Robot, Stand, High; each person will get one guess saying say: Elephant, Popcorn, Beard, Tent, none of them are correct, but you can then use one of their guesses and 2 new hints such as: Tent, Balance, and Falling. This process continues till someone gets the right answer or time runs out. It’s a simple fun party game that keeps everyone involved and a game I’ll look forward to playing.
