Truth Be Told is the revealing new laugh-out-loud, pretend to know your friends party game! Each round, one of the players in the Host, and plays a question card such as, “Truth Be Told, my favorite snack is ______.” The Host writes a truthful answer – pork rinds. All other players pretend to be the Host, and write bluff answers –which seems like something the Host wrote - pretzels, prunes, sardines. Truth be told is a great family/friend party game. It is a very easy game to catch on to, and is a lot of fun. Whether it is a holiday and your with friends and family or your just sitting around with nothing to do, Truth be told is a must have! It is a very quick play game and is pretty goofy. If you are looking for a new game to add to your collection or are looking for a new game to give as a gift, truth be told is it!

If you take Apples to Apples or Say Anything and add in a dash of Balderdash, you may get the idea of what you’re looking at with Truth Be Told.
In this game, players take turns being the Host, who draws a card with a statement in which they must honestly fill in the blank, like "Truth be told, I used to have a poster of ______." The Host and the other players write their answer on a card, secretly—the Host is truthful, and the other players make up something believable. There’s a system for replacing duplicates, which I won’t get into—suffice it to say there will be no duplicates for the next part. The host then reads the answers aloud, being sure to avoid suspicion on any answer (this is where the bluffing comes in). The players then vote on the correct answer by secretly writing it on a paddle. After the players take turns revealing their votes, the Host reveals the true answer, and points are scored: one point for each correct vote goes to the players and the host, and each player whose bluff answer is voted on gets a point as well. The first player with 15 points wins.
Truth Be Told is a laugh-out-loud game for a group of close friends or family; it would also serve as a great icebreaker for older students and in the workplace. With over 564 Truth Be Told statements, the game also has a lot of replay value. This may be my new favorite party game!
